Our capabilities include, but are not limited to:

The previous fabricated version of this part was distorted by welding heat. An alignment problem on holes was solved by punching all holes in one hit. Formed covers cost 60% less than fabricated versions. The flatness of formed versions permitted automated welding in the next assembly.

We provided reasonable tooling costs for complex press work. This part required 80 drain holes pierced in 0.125" 5052 H32 aluminum plates, 16 ribs formed in alignment with the holes, and 255 extruded grip holes pierced from reverse side. The part was then trimmed and mitered.

This part required a six stage operation: Blanking, preforming, forming, piercing a center hole, restriking, and piercing four holes. A special lubricant minimized failures from the drawing operation. This resulted in a 0.375" C1010 HRPO leveled strip.
